Toni DeLuca, the Italian owner of DeLuca Construction, finds herself confronted with doubts about her father and his possible deceptions–all because of the mysterious pink notes she’s been receiving.
Relations with Perrin Douglas who has a troubled history–but the first man in years who’s interested her–is building to a peak. Yet Perrin’s own personal problems and his doubts about women and God, keep getting in the way.
Gossip, a Spanish proposal, an inheritance, and a sabotaged construction business may ruin Christmas for Toni’s employees as well as her happiness.
Will a mysterious person succeed in pulling off the biggest scam Appleton, West Virginia has ever seen?
And will this culprit destroy Toni’s last chance at happiness with the man of her dreams?

 My Thoughts:

After already being a big fan of the author after reading her book, The Redemption of Caralynne Hayman, and combining that with my love of a good cozy mystery I couldn’t wait to dive in Sabotaged Christmas.

I have to say, I was yet again blown away with how quick this author can hook me on a book. I read it in June, but it would make the perfect “Christmas in July” read. The pacing was perfect, the mystery fun to read about and the touch of romance perfectly done. When a book keeps you up to late reading, you know you’ve got something going for you and that was the case with this one. The only complaint I can give is not really a complaint at all – the book ended much too soon for me! I wanted to live in the world these characters reside in just a bit longer. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait long to dive into the next Appleton, WV book!
