Welcome to my stop on the Little Lies Blog Tour. Little Lies is written by Caleb Pirtle and published by California Times Publishing. Here’s a bit more about the book!
A small town has calmed itself as a peaceful place to live, until one day its smoldering fires of jealousy and selfish greed turn it into a blazing fire.
The people. Their anger and anguish boils deep inside their congregation. In a Presbyterian Church, their preacher is no longer looked upon as a god.
Filled with sex, bribery and blackmail, the gossip in the town will condemn his soul. A maddening horror grips the lives of the innocent who become as demonic as the Satan they curse in their nightly prayers.
The preacher questions his faith, asking if it can rise above the impact from a woman with one little lie.
*I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for sharing my honest opinion*
There was something intriguing about this book that had me reading it immediately upon receiving it. It kind of put me in the mind of the thriller type books I love where you never truly know what’s going on and what’s the truth until the last page and that had me ready to dive right in.
This book was uniquely its own and quite, using my own little made up word here, unputdownable. As the synopsis states, can a preacher’s faith rise above the impact from a woman with one Little Lie? I don’t want to give anything away but I have to say there are a lot of things within this book that you will not see coming, and yes, I mean that in a good way. If you love books that step outside the norm and keep you thinking then you will LOVE Little Lies!
